Did your child have a great time last week during the Hour of Code?
Would you like to encourage coding at home? While the coding activities that students participated with this past week were mostly web-based there is a huge world of coding apps just waiting for students to explore. Check out some of the free and paid apps below. As a parent, I know how difficult it can be to navigate the sea of video games, apps, websites, TV shows, and movies to find one that has educational value and is age appropriate. So I've included a link to Common Sense Media's review where available. Did we forget a great coding app? Please leave it in the comments area.
